The pink sandstone headstone of Velvet Gaba, died 5732 on the Hebrew calendar (1931-1932). The stone was repurposed after the war as a grinding stone, then returned anonymously to the old Jewish cemetery in Rohatyn (Ivano-Frankivsk oblast) in 2020. Photos © RJH.
